Los Alisos Middle School’s mission is to create students who are successful learners and global citizens by challenging them to achieve their highest potential; providing an environment that is positive, safe, and academically challenging; and by modeling for them how to be responsible citizens in the larger global community.  School focus and priorities include:

• Providing all students with challenging, standards based work to support them in mastering grade level standards
• Provide an articulated, integrated, and thematic curriculum for all students
• Create dynamic interdisciplinary teams at each grade level
• Provide programs that meet the special needs of all students
• Provide a positive atmosphere that promotes respect for all in a diverse and multicultural society
• Maintain a positive environment through a system of rewards and consequences for students
• Maintain an appropriate system of communication and reporting for teachers and parents
• Enhance community partnerships to support the learning program
• Evaluate and maintain the school’s technology plan to prepare our students for future careers
